The Ensemble is the group of artists who function as the creative driving force behind both productions and company decisions. The Ensemble is led by the Artistic Director and Managing Director, but it is a consensus-based body. Special rules and provisions exist to break ties and disagreements within this body.

Cornerstone is unique in that it has a three-sided Governing Structure, including the Staff, Board of Directors, and Ensemble.

New members are suggested by a special Membership committee.
