I was there; it was 1992, I had recently moved back to Pacoima, from Texas, Fort Hood to be exact. My mother discovered a notice for auditions, brought it home and told me to check it out...the rest was and still is a blast. I was a part of Rushing Waters, and L.A Bridge, Cornerstone Rocks!!! And what they do is so, so important, so very human. Imagine a roving community theatre-group, where someone thinks that your little piece of the world is important enough to put on blast, in spite of the challenges and problems? This is CORNERSTONE, taking everyday people and making extraordinary statements about our intertwined lives on terra firma. To be celebrated! Are you kidding, I read scripts with Amy Brenneman!! Little ol' me! Please keep up the awesome, necessary work. I wonder if I can convince them to come to Miami, Fl?
