Synopsis

Involving residents of the East Los Angeles community of Boyle Heights, this adaptation by Luis Alfaro and Diane Rodriguez of the Mexican shepherds play, La Pastorela, was performed at the Community Service Organization.

Los Vecinos: A Play for Neighbors is an adaptation of the Mexican Shepard’s play La Pastorela. The play follows a group of neighbors on a journey through an earthquake-ravaged landscape.
