CELESTE ALLEYNE is currently the Community Affairs and Relationship Marketing Director for Microsoft, Southern California and Hawaii. In this position Celeste manages all of Microsoft's Unlimited Potential Granting and Community Affairs programs and strategies. Prior to Microsoft, Celeste held executive positions with Nike, AT&T, Ziff Davis Publishing, Esprit De Corp. and Westinghouse Broadcasting. She graduated with honors from Brown University and holds an MBA in Broadcast Communications from New York Institute of Technology. Professional and civic honors include Outstanding Community Influencer award from the Los Angeles Boys & Girls Club Alliance, The Dialogue on Diversity award for contributions to the Los Angeles supplier diversity community, the Prism Award for outstanding work with Los Angeles ethnic communities, and the Public Policy Advocate of the Year award from the National Association of Women Business Owners. Celeste is currently on the Advisory Board of HOPE and the Executive Corps. of the Los Angeles Urban League. Past board memberships include: the Hollywood Entertainment Museum; Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Center; Portland Urban League; Los Angeles Urban League, Lula Washington Dance Theatre Company, and The New Leaders. She has also counseled the Magic Johnson Foundation on education and technology funding in Los Angeles. Celeste is a native of Boston, Massachusetts and an avid gourmet cook and wine collector. She currently resides in Silverlake/Echo Hills area of Los Angeles.
