ANGELA WEIMER is the Senior Director of Operations for the NALEO Educational Fund, a national non-profit which promotes the participation of Latinos in the American political process. She also oversees personnel management and special events for the organization. Active in the community for over 25 years, Ms. Weimer has consistently dedicated her personal and professional life to community service and the advancement of social justice. She has served as Vice President of the Los Angeles County Commission for Women as well as on the Boards of The ACLU, Weingart/East Los Angeles YMCA, Villa Malaga Housing Project, and the UCLA Latino Alumni Association, among others. Currently, she is an appointed Commissioner for the City of Alhambra, and serves on the Board of the Golden State Minority Foundation. Ms. Weimer is the proud parent of two daughters, Sonia, 21 (now deceased), a budding actor for whom she dedicates her Cornerstone participation, and Paloma, 14.
